Sunwing Resort

Charter vacations are all about easy living. Sunwing Resort is definetely not the place to go if you are looking for tasty local food or cultural studies. But if you are a child and like to swim and eat ice cream, you have found your paradise. Arguineguín is a small fishing village and a lot of Norwegians have taken the village to their heart. The Norwegian population is quite large in the winter time. This might be due to the Norwegian school, church and health center being located just outside of Arguineguín. Makes it feel safe if something was to happen to the kids. Michael had to go see a doctor the last time we were there.


Because we were late to book our vacation, we had to split up in two different hotel rooms. Michael and Natalie stayed in their own little apartment. Huge step. A lot of responsibility. We were next door neighbors and needless to say the phone was frequently used.


While waiting for meals or just being too tired of sun, we would gather in our hotel room and watch movies. They kept showing Despicable me which soon became a favorite!
