Another Sunday and another Sunshine Getaway!
This time we went on a CrAzY bus ride to the small village Puerto Mogan. Where the white arrow is on the picture above, the turn was so sharp and steep, the bus driver made a complete stop and honked the horn really loud. It was a scary ride but we arrived safely. Thank goodness.

Channels between the marina and the fishing harbor, passing under arches in the buildings and between the port and the beach, has led to Puerto Mogan being dubbed the "La Venecia de Canarias" - the "Venice of the Canaries".

Did you know fish love potato chips? I didn't.

Puerto Mogan is the last stop for yachts crossing the Atlantic ocean over to the Bahamas.

At the old village.

We walked around and Glenn was intrigued by an old man who had rigged a stand with cardboard boxes and was hiding a miniature ball under hollowed potatoes. He was taking bets and Glenn helped out a German guy and was not allowed to play. Haha.

We stopped at one of the many restaurants along the promenade and had lunch. Glenn ordered a Canary Salad. Avocado and bananas. Hm.. Well, riding the bus back to Arguineguin was not very tempting as Natalie and I both got a little car sick. And since we were in boat heaven, we decided to ride the glass bottom ferry back to the resort.
